C2N Diagnostics, which develops tests for Alzheimer’s and other neurological diseases, has inked a deal to expand the global reach of its testing products.

Headquartered in the Cortex Innovation District, C2N said this week it has formed a partnership with medical diagnostics company SouthGenetics to bring its tests to Latin America and the Caribbean. Miami-based SouthGenetics focuses on distributing innovative medical products to that region.

Founded in 2007, C2N has developed blood tests under the brand name Precivity used to help healthcare clinicians diagnose and treat patients with Alzheimer’s. C2N says its test has also been used by researchers studying Alzheimer’s, including in more than 200 studies.
