About this Event
The OTM Office Hours series is kicking off the 2026-27 academic year with SBIR/STTR Decoded: What It Is, What It Isn’t, and What It Can Be for You.
Join OTM to hear from a panel of experts regarding the ins and outs of these federally funded programs for early-stage innovation. SBIR/STTR experts, Ed Lahue and Veronika Redmann, PhD, will present in detail on the two programs, covering details like :
who should consider a SBIR and/or a STTR grant,
clarification on who qualifies to apply,
and what the difference is between the two programs.
Jeneane Braden, Associate Vice Chancellor for Research Integrity and Ethics, also joins the panel to address faculty conflicts of interest—a critical component when launching a WashU startup.
Don’t miss this informative session on these programs and the new updates effective since their reauthorization earlier this year.
